SAFETY ASSURANCE PROGRAM A Safety Management System is made up of many parts, each of which is invaluable to its success. Safety Assurance (SA) is the primary driver of maintaining a dynamic SMS, adapting and evolving over time, keeping in sync with your operation. Safety Assurance is simply ensuring that your SMS includes a feedback loop, making sure you are doing what you are planning to do and that it is working. As part of our Safety Assurance Program (SAP), The Squadron Safety Team will work with your operation to keep this loop closed. Safety Assurance is also about creating an environment for a cultural change, where safety becomes intrinsic in everything that everyone does, rather than an addition burden to the daily business of flying.
