DAVE SCOTT 5,800 hrs of flight experience in turbine helicopters. Over 700 shipboard landings during day, night, and NVG operations. Dave Scott retired from the US Coast Guard in 2008 while serving as the H65 Fleet’s Chief Pilot. He is currently consulting, instructing and flying utility in the western US and Alaska. Dave is considered one of the industry’s most experienced Flight Safety professionals and Accident Investigators. His training includes the University of Southern California’s Aviation Safety Professional and both the US Army’s and British Royal Navy’s aviation safety programs. One of the CG’s original Crew Resource Management founders he instructs CRM, Human Factors, Risk Management/Mitigation and Accident Investigation as well as offers professional witness testimonies.
