DAN DEUTERMANN 5,500 hrs of flight experience. Nearly 800 shipboard landings during day, night, and NVG operations. Dan Deutermann is a 1991 graduate of the University of Florida and has over 20 years experience in maritime helicopter operations. He has served both in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard as a fleet aviator, and has accumulated over two years at sea aboard a wide variety of ships conducting missions worldwide. He has served as a helicopter flight instructor at the US Naval Flight School interacting with both U.S & International flight students, to include indoctrinating new helicopter flight instructors. He has a Masters Degree in Aviation Management, a graduate of the US Navy’s Aviation Safety Officer Program specializing in risk management and helicopter accident investigation, and has served as an investigator on the full spectrum of accident investigations for the USCG.
